1.In this image the first thing I am drawn to is a lady holding a baby with another baby reaching out for her. This poster is painted with many dark colors because it is supposed to be a sad poster. It makes people feel sad.
2. The poster says "must children die and mothers plead in vein?" this
poster is basically saying if you do not buy bonds many people are going
to die. The author wanted people to feel bad about the kids and therefore buy more bonds.
3. This poster is probably intended for parents especially mothers because when they hear about kids staving and dying it hits very hard on them since they have kids.

1. The first thing I am drawn to is a women standing in the middle of what looks like the ocean. This image confused me because I couldn't really understand the image but the words on it do a good job explaining it. it says " for you they are giving their lives over there, for them you must give every cent you can spare. It means the soldiers are dying for the people so the people need to help pay for them.
2. The artist is trying to get people again to feel bad for the soldiers that are dying over there and therefore buy bonds to help pay for the things they need.
3. This poster is intended for all adults in America that are going to be able to give some money to help support the war.
Picture #4
1. The first thing I am drawn to in this poster is the people entering America and the statue of liberty in the background. It says " remember your first thrill of american liberty, your duty to buy united states government bonds."
2. The artist is basically trying to tell people that it is their duty as citizens of the united states to buy liberty bonds to help out the government.
3. This poster is directed to people who have recently come to the US. It is trying to get those people to think it is their duty as americans to buy liberty bonds.
7. I am okay with the idea of the government spending tax dollars on propaganda because we are paying taxes to help to government pay for things so if that is what they wanna pay for then that is their choice.
8. I believe they felt it was necessary to invest money in producing propaganda posters because we needed more people to join the war and this was the best way to get them to do that.
